Aunt Polly's Attic
|
| |
My name is Teresa and I'm the proprietress here in the Attic. (A little secret about the Attic ... it's actually a small, but cozy sewing room in a snug little house that I share with my husband, my son, and my yellow lab, Shelby Rose.) Born and raised in northern Illinois, I come from a long line of modest needlewomen.

Through the years I've discovered some true loves and passions ... primitive antiques, vintage textiles, Russian needlepunch, dollmaking, cross stitching historical samplers, all things sewie, quiltmaking, rughooking (there's nothing quite like that first peek into the wool dye pot!!!!). My truest desire is to share my loves and passions with you.

Using precious antique and vintage textiles whenever possible, the products offered at the Attic are still made the old fashioned way -- by hand and one at a time. There's something very comforting and satisfying about that ... very soothing to my soul ... and strums my very heartstrings.

I ask for your patience while I continue to work on the website. I have lots and lots that I want to share with you!!! If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me.

It's my sincerest hope that you will enjoy your visit to my Aunt Polly's Attic. Be sure to join my mailing list so you're first to hear news from the Attic.
