Welcome to the Attic!!!! I'm so glad you stopped by to visit ... Spring is here!!!! Our favorite time of the year here at the Attic. "But each spring...a gardening instinct, sure as the sap rising in the trees, stirs within us. We look about and decide to tame another little bit of ground." -- Lewis Gantt The birds are singing, the flowers are popping ... does it get any better than this? The Attic gardens have be planted ... bigger and better than ever with lots of herbs and veggies and gourds coming this year. With the price of everything going up, up, and up, we've decided to make the very most of every square foot of dirt. My hostas have come in so beautifully this year! Oh my gosh, they're stunning! A couple of new varieties this year ... Blue Angel which gets HUGE and a smaller blue hosta that I can't remember the name of. Something Pat? This is the year that I finally give up on growing roses. I don't know why, but I just can't get them to grow anymore. This year they've all but died and I've decided to cut them back, dig them out, and give them a proper burial. I haven't decided yet what to plant in their place. I wonder if I'll ever be satisfied with the flowerbeds ... somehow I doubt it.
